On July 1 , 2019 – Front axle tethers will be mandatory for all Empire Super Sprints full point events.

1. Tethers must be attached to the chassis, Tether systems must include a “king pin to king pin” tether that will attach to each king pin. Tethers should be installed using the manufacture’s provided fasteners. Tether systems of any type must be pre-approved and installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Radius rod tether systems must wrap around the axle per the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Note – for the remainder of 2019, the “bolt to bolt” radius rod axle tethers that are approved by the World of Outlaws and All-Stars will be allowed which includes two (2) Vectran® HS V-12, or Dynemma 12 tethers attached to the chassis and to the axle via clamp bracket.

Amick Associates Choke Style Sprint Car Axle Tether. (WoO Approved for 2020)
Butlerbuilt Sprint Car King Pin Front Axle Restraint Tether. (WoO Approved for 2020)
Butlerbuilt Clamp Style Axel Tethers (WoO Approved for 2020).
Crow Winged Sprint Car Wrap Around Style Tethers (Could be WoO Approved at a later date but ESS/USAC Approved)
